Sorting Activity in Occupational Therapy

Sorting activity is a simple and engaging occupational therapy activity that helps children develop important cognitive, visual-motor, and fine-motor skills. In this activity, children learn to sort objects according to colour, shape, size, category, or other features.

Regular sorting activities can support visual discrimination, attention and concentration, categorization, problem-solving, hand-eye coordination, fine-motor skills, and following instructions.
